The brief

Explain operated hire and collect what a quote needs

Copperworks Plant Hire hires out mini diggers, excavators, and dumpers with an operator, and supports groundworks, across South and West Wales. It is a trading name of Dragon Multi-Trade Limited.

Each machine comes with its operator. The website had to make that clear, show the jobs each machine suits, and collect what is needed to price a job: the machine, the site postcode, the narrowest access, the ground, where the spoil goes, and the dates.

Starting point

A new business, with no website yet

Copperworks Plant Hire is a new trading name, so there was no earlier website. The pages, the quote form, and the admin were planned from the start.

What we built

Service pages, area pages, and a quote form

We built the website with Next.js and the Payload editor on Cloudflare. The homepage has a short quote form in its first screen. The operated plant hire page compares the four services in a table, and each service page covers the jobs it suits, who does what on site, the steps on the day, and the questions customers ask.

Nine area pages describe the local jobs and the access points in each area. The page text, the service and area pages, and the quote requests are kept in the admin.

The outcome

Live and open to search engines

The website went live on copperworksplanthire.co.uk on 17 October 2026. Its sitemap was sent to Google and Bing on launch day, and the .com and www addresses redirect to the main domain.

On Google PageSpeed for phones, the pages tested scored between 94 and 99 for performance, and 100 for accessibility, best practices, and SEO.
