What we were asked to solve
Make it easy for people to sell their antiques
Vintage Collections Wales buys antiques, collectables, and house contents across South and West Wales, from private sellers, dealers, collectors, and executors. The website's main job is to bring in things to buy.
It also needed a shop for the stock without taking payments online, so customers reserve a piece or ask a question, and pay on collection.

The result
Every sell request arrives with photos and a status
Sellers describe what they have in a three-step form and add photos from their phone, shrunk to 1600 pixels before they upload. Each request lands in the admin and moves from New to Collected and paid as it is dealt with.

Why this one worked
Stock added from a phone, straight to the shop
A piece is added from a phone: photos first, then what it is, the category, and a short summary. It can be saved as a draft or shown in the shop straight away, and each piece gets its own reference number.
