The brief
Show the monthly price before the first call
Abacus IT supports businesses of 1 to 25 people across South and West Wales with IT support, cyber security, business phone lines, and AI.
It publishes every price, so customers can plan their IT budget for the year before they speak to anyone.
Starting point
A new business, with no website yet
Abacus IT is a new business, so there was no earlier website. The pages and the price calculator were planned from the start.
What we built
A price calculator on the homepage and the pricing page
We built the website with Next.js and the Payload editor on Cloudflare. Visitors pick a support plan, set the number of people who need support and add phone lines, and the monthly total updates as they go.
The prices are kept in one place in the admin, and both calculators read from it.
Two price calculators
On the homepage and the pricing page, with the total shown excluding VAT.

One price list
A price changed in the admin shows in both calculators.

Service pages
IT support, cyber security, business phone lines, and AI for business.

Screens
The pricing page on desktop, tablet, and phone
On a desktop the running total sits beside the choices. On a tablet and a phone it moves below them.

The outcome
Built and ready to launch
The website is built on its own domain and hidden from search engines until launch, when it opens to them.
