The brief
Every page editable, with the design unchanged
xpandly is a marketing agency for technology vendors and IT channel partners in the United States. It sends proposals to clients and takes enquiries through its website.
It wanted to leave its old platform and edit every word on every page itself, with the design kept as it was.
The problem
Page text locked in the code
The 151-page website ran on an app-building platform, and all its text sat in the code, so every change needed a developer. Some forms showed a success message even when the enquiry failed, and pages pointed to a share image that did not exist.
Several admin screens, such as the content editor and the media library, were not used by the public site.
What we built
151 pages moved, with a word-only editor and a proposal builder
We moved every page to Next.js and the Payload editor on Cloudflare. Each page's words are edited in a word-only editor that refuses layout changes, so the design stays fixed.
The proposal builder, enquiries inbox, and dashboards were rebuilt in the new admin, and the unused screens were removed.
A word-only page editor
Every word on all 151 pages can be edited, and the layout stays locked.

Proposals behind a password
The team builds a proposal in the admin and publishes it to its own address. The client opens it with a password.

An enquiries inbox
Enquiries from the six forms land in an inbox with unread counts.

Redirects for old addresses
Old addresses redirect, and retired ones tell search engines they have gone.
A share image for each page
Each page gets its own share image, built from its title.
Screens
A service page on desktop, tablet, and phone
The Microsoft Copilot page on a desktop, a tablet, and a phone. On a phone the menu folds behind one button and the headline fills the screen.

The outcome
All 151 pages matched after the move
We compared every page on the new site with the old one, including its text, title, description, and structured data, and all 151 matched. The site went live on 2 October 2026, and its text is now edited in the admin.
