What we were asked to solve
A website the staff could keep up to date themselves
Trade Used Cars sells used cars and parts across South and West Wales from Ammanford. Its previous website had no admin, so nobody at the garage could change it, and its contact form discarded enquiries instead of delivering them.
The copy also placed the business in London and offered finance the dealer does not provide. Two days after the new site went live, the owner asked for a search-first layout, a valuation request, and a parts catalogue, and we added all three.

The result
Enquiries now reach the admin instead of disappearing
Enquiries, valuation requests, and part exchange requests all land in the admin for someone to answer. Each car photo is framed to 1600 by 900 with the dealer's logo bar as it is uploaded.
On every screen
The stock page on every screen
On a desktop the filters sit beside the cars. On a tablet they move above the list, and on a phone each car's photo sits above its price and details.

Why this one worked
Run by the people who sell the cars
Each member of staff has their own login and chooses their own password at first sign-in. The owner chooses what each person can change, so the people who sell the cars can list them without touching anything else.
What we built
- Search-first homepage and stock pages
- A stock app for staff phones
- Value your car and part exchange forms
- A parts catalogue with stock badges

What happened next
We built number-plate lookup through the DVLA and MOT history services, and it is designed to switch on once the dealer's keys are added.
